EXCELLENTVerified We spent a week in this one bedroom unit and it was perfect (no kids so we didn’t need the pull out couch). The principal rooms are spacious with high ceilings, super clean place and well equipped. Loved that each room had a window looking out over the sea. The best part was the terrace which was huge and we lived out there. Lucca was fantastic, had great English and gave us lots of info and practical tips about the area. Praiano is a quiet place and this apartment was very quiet. The coast road is down the hill just far enough that traffic sounds weren’t an issue. Took us 5 minutes to amble down there to the SITA bus stop which is how you get to Positano and to Amalfi. Two grocery stores and a restaurant within a 5 minute walk too. Like everywhere on the coast there are a lot of steps but the location of this unit actually was OK for that, not too challenging. The area is charming and true gem where you blend with the warmest and most sincere locals. Central to Praiano the home is as described, views are amazing, clean, and stocked with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. We walked everywhere and loved the natural beauty of Praiano away from the crowds of neighboring towns like Positano, yet close enough to venture out to experience new areas. The views were incredible and their team welcomed me with a mini tour, which was a gift! Praiano was an easy town to familiarize myself with, had exceptional vista points, and this Airbnb was located perfectly between the busier downtown and the marina, with several stellar restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. When they bumped into some maintenance issues, they relocated me to a different suite due to the noise near my initial rental - this new one had even more spectacular views. I appreciated their responsiveness to the noise/construction issues and generosity in the upgraded suite. Just as picture and the view is beautiful. The ac worked great and was much needed during the summer heat. We arranged taxi pickup and Capri tour through the host and I would highly recommend doing both. Upon check in we were even given little snacks, water, and a bottle of champagne! The shower is a little on the smaller end (reminiscent of a cruise shower), but not a huge issue. Kukkia täynnä oleva suuri terassi oli silmänilo itsessään, ja siellä oli ihana istua iltaa ja nauttia aamiaista. Asunnossa oli valmiina kaikki tarpeellinen, ja leveä parivuode oli pehmeä ja hyvä nukkua! Yhteyshenkilö Luca vastasi välittömästi viesteihin, ja kun en osannut laittaa pesukonetta päälle (koneessa on vain yksi ohjelma), apua naapurista saapui paikalle 5 minuutissa! Yllätys oli rappusten määrä joka paikkaan, vaikka tiesin korkeuseroista. Alapuolella olevaan lähimpään minimarketiin (sininen rakennus, näkyy suoraan terassilta, on myös edullisin pikkukauppa) oli 118 rappua alas plus käytävät. Rannalle laskua oli ainakin kolminkertainen määrä - ja sama uimisen jälkeen ylös! Urheilusuorituksen palkitsivat kuitenkin kauniit, keramiikkataiteella koristellut kiviseinäiset käytävät kukkaloistoineen. Praiano ja Palazzo Rocco kuvankauniine ympäristöineen ovat ainutkertainen elämys! ❤️Posted on AirbnbVerified Fantastic experience in the less discovered but equally beautiful almafi coast town! Spent majority of time on the patio or during the day down at the beach. Easy bus access to positano and Amalfi, grocery store within a few hundred feet provides all the necessities for home cooked meals and dinners. The main host contact is extremely helpful and can help arrange anything you need! Pro tip, book the direct transfer thru the hosts to and from the coast , if you try and do it on your own you will spend all day on multiple forms of transformation. They cost is well worth what it will have you in logistics and trust me you want a reputable professional driver. 10 out of 10 stars, thankful we got to soak up such a beautiful piece of the world!Posted on AirbnbVerified The view from Palazzo Rocco is incredible. The patio area was fantastic for relaxing, dining and conversation. Waking up in the morning and seeing that view from the bedroom was the best part of our day.
